Inmate dies at Tangipahoa Parish Jail; sheriff’s office launches investigation
AMITE, La. (WAFB) - The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of an inmate who was found unresponsive at the parish jail on Wednesday, Dec. 10, in the afternoon. According to TPSO, staff discovered 55-year-old Eugene Hickerson unresponsive in his dorm at around 3 p.m.
